'Maps to the Stars' Update - Production Set to Start on July 8th

eOne has closed multiple deals on David Cronenberg’s new thriller Maps to the Stars, starring Mia Wasikowska, Julianne Moore, Robert Pattinson and John Cusack.

Deals have closed with Benelux (Cineart), Poland (Monolith), Scandinavia (Mis Label), Iceland (Gmight), Switzerland (PatheAG), Portugal (Lusomundo), Turkey (Calinos), Israel (Shani), Greece (Hollywood) and Former Yugoslavia (Discovery).

Deals are set to close shortly for C.I.S., Middle East, Brazil, Mexico, Peru, Hong Kong and India.

Production is scheduled to kick off on July 8 in Toronto and Los Angeles on the ghost story that also doubles as a commentary on celebrity culture in Los Angeles. Bruce Wagner wrote the screenplay.

eOne will directly distribute the film in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

eOne and Prospero Pictures are co-financing and Katz produces with SBS Productions’ Saïd Ben Saïd.

New pictures of Rob, Bear and Bernie driving in LA

Could it be that Dior Rob really exist?

You remember that rumor in last December when Rob was seen by fans going out of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York,and extras had revealed that it was for shooting a commercial? And the Dior brand was whispered on the lips? Since we hadno confirmation or disclaimer from Dior, but to much improbable rumors going around the web. At that point, Rob being the new face of Dior seemed to be a fabrication. But hope is reborn today! A fan has actually asked one of the extras if he couldconfirm all these news and here is his answer:

And a fan who was there in front of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel that day in December, tweeted this:

When I went to go see rob that day, that is what I was told, that it was a commercial for a French cologne and it was for Dior.

So what do you think? Can we hope again? I think so! But we will have to be patient again, perhaps this Dior campaign will be released in the fall or at Christmas? 
But Rob Dior worth the wait! :D

OMG Kristen and Rob just pass by me I wanted to scream, but my husband is with me. I don't know Who I should reply back cuz I might just be replying to people Who want to turn this around you know Who I am talking about. But what I saw was true hopefully somebody saw them too. I saw them heading toward a big group of people and ahead of us I could hear music. sorry I didn't get pics but my husband doesn't know that they are my idols. My nephew lives there I am just visiting him. I was hoping somebody else would see them for a minute I thought I was imaging them. there was a group of people in front of them but don't know if they were together (the group & RK). They look like dolls very normal couple. 

Is the project with Robert Pattinson still a go?
