Kristen Stewart is the new face of Chanel’s 2014 campaign
From the face of Balenciaga, to another iconic French fashion house - Kristen Stewart has been confirmed as the face of Chanel’s 2013/14 Métiers d’Art Paris‐Dallas collection.
Appearing on the front row at the label’s Metiers d’Art show, staged yesterday evening in Dallas, the twittersphere was abuzz with rumours that K-Stew might be the new face of the brand - and this morning, the label confirmed that the actress will appear in a campaign shot by Karl Lagerfeld in May 2014.
Stewart, who was named GLAMOUR’s best dressed of 2013, attended the Chanel Couture show last season. She joined Dakota Fanning and Alexa Chung at the Texas event dressed in orange trousers and a grey sweater. She follows in the footsteps of Blake Lively, Keira Knightley and Diane Kruger as the face of Chanel.
Kristen first met Karl Lagerfeld in January 2012 during a photo shoot in Paris when she was photographed in Chanel Huate Couture. Since then, she’s worn the label on many public occasions, from the BAFTAs to the Met Ball.
